CyberOcto Pay Merchant Terms & Conditions
Service Overview
CyberOcto Pay, operated by TNR Development Studio, provides merchants with a platform for processing payments and managing digital gift card transactions. By registering as a merchant, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
Payouts & Fees
Merchants receive payouts according to the schedule outlined in their merchant agreement. Processing fees range from 8.5% and up, depending on the Merchant’s individual risk profile and business situation. Additional fees may apply for premium services or custom integrations.
Chargebacks & Recoupment
If a chargeback is initiated against any Merchant transaction, CyberOcto Pay will deduct the full chargeback amount plus a non-refundable chargeback fee of $25.00 per occurrence. This deduction will be made from the Merchant’s available payout balance at the time the chargeback is processed. If sufficient funds are not available at that time, the deduction will be made from the next available payout(s).
If the Merchant receives an excessive number of chargebacks, as determined at the sole discretion of CyberOcto Pay, CyberOcto Pay reserves the right to immediately terminate the Merchant’s account and withhold all earnings for up to 120 days to cover potential liabilities arising from additional chargebacks or other claims.
Code Redemption & Validity
All gift card codes are subject to validity periods as specified at the time of issuance. Merchants are responsible for honoring valid codes within the specified timeframe. Expired codes cannot be redeemed.
No Refunds Policy
- CyberOcto Pay does not issue refunds to customers after code delivery. Merchants must adhere to this policy and may not offer refunds directly for codes sold via CyberOcto Pay.
- Any exceptions or special cases must be approved in writing by CyberOcto Pay.
If CyberOcto Pay is required to process a refund to a customer on behalf of a Merchant, a fee equal to 8.5% of the refunded amount will be deducted from the Merchant’s earnings. This deduction will be made from the Merchant’s available payout balance at the time of the refund or from subsequent payouts if insufficient funds are available.
Compliance & Fraud Prevention
- Merchants agree to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards related to digital gift card sales.
- Merchants must assist CyberOcto Pay in investigating and resolving any cases of suspected fraud, abuse, or unauthorized transactions.
- CyberOcto Pay may suspend or terminate merchant accounts for suspected fraudulent activity or non-compliance.
Limitation of Liability
- CyberOcto Pay is not liable for merchant business losses, lost profits, or indirect damages.
- The platform is provided “as is” and without warranties of any kind.
- Merchants are responsible for the accuracy of their business information and gift card offerings.
Modifications to Terms
- CyberOcto Pay reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use
of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
Administrative Access
As a condition of using CyberOcto Pay’s payment processing services, the Merchant is required to provide CyberOcto Pay with administrative access to their website. This access is necessary for CyberOcto Pay to monitor order processes and assist in the timely resolution of any order-related issues, including but not limited to chargebacks, refunds, and customer disputes. Failure to provide or maintain such access may result in suspension or termination of payment processing services.
