What is CyberOcto Pay?
CyberOcto Pay is a standalone software platform that lets your business generate, issue, and manage your own branded gift card codes — OctoCodes. We’re not a payment processor; you connect your own processor and CyberOcto Pay handles the code layer on top of it.
Do I need my own payment processor to use CyberOcto Pay?
Yes. CyberOcto Pay doesn’t process payments on your behalf — it never has. You’ll need a processor of your own in place before customers can purchase codes on your site. If you don’t have one yet, our team can help point you toward legitimate options (see the Payment Processing Help section above).
Can I sell OctoCodes under my own brand?
Yes — that’s the core of the platform. Every code, checkout page, and customer touchpoint can carry your brand, not ours. Private label licensing takes this further and gives you the whole platform under your name.

Yes. The software uses strong security protocols for code generation and redemption on your site.
How do I get support?

Everything about how a merchant’s own shoppers redeem codes, resolve a stuck order, or read a statement descriptor is downstream of the merchant’s own processor and checkout setup — that’s merchant-to-customer support, not something CyberOcto Pay needs to field. Worth pointing this out to whoever owns Support too, since the existing ticket form and support docs may currently be written for shoppers as well.
What's the difference between the Issuer and Merchant plugins?
CyberOcto Pay Issuer handles generating and issuing OctoCodes. CyberOcto Pay Merchant handles accepting and redeeming OctoCodes at checkout. Private label licensing includes both, so you can run the full code lifecycle on your own site.
Is CyberOcto Pay compatible with WooCommerce?
es, WooCommerce integration is included and ready out of the box. Shopify, BigCommerce, and OpenCart integrations are in development.
Can I fully rebrand the plugin, or does CyberOcto Pay branding still show anywhere?
Private Label is a full white label solution — your branding, your name, your identity throughout the checkout and admin experience.
Will I get updates after I purchase?
Yes, future plugin updates are included as part of your subscription.
Is my customers' payment data handled by CyberOcto Pay?
No. Since your own payment processor handles the actual transaction, CyberOcto Pay’s software doesn’t store or process cardholder payment data — that stays with your processor.
